Endeavors Worth Noting

Hey everyone! There seems to be more than a few "little" projects in the works lately, speaking about the Body at large. While surfing a few other blog sites, I discovered that Joshua Harris has authored a new book that is scheduled to release in January of 2010. The book is titled Dug Down Deep. Check out this quote from Joshua Harris:

"I've come to learn that theology matters. It matters not because we want to impress people with our knowledge, but because what we know about God shapes the way we think and live. Theology matters because if we get it wrong then our whole life will be wrong."

In his new book, Harris will tell his story of how he learned to dig into truth and build his life on a real knowledge of God; instead of empty tradition and vast emotionalism. Needless, I'm quite excited about this book (otherwise, I probably wouldn't be including it in this post)! Lol! If you want to know more about this book, you can check out more information here.

Also in the works is the newest movie from Sherwood Pictures! For those who may not know, Sherwood Pictures is known for such movies as: Facing the Giants, Flywheel, and Fireproof. The new motion picture is called Courageous. Hmm...come to think of it...I wonder what made them stop their trend of beginning movie names with the letter "F"... Lol! In any case, this movie promises to be a must see (for Christian men especially).

The movie will center around four male law enforcement officers, who are also family men. It will depict men really wrestling with their walks, marriages, and FATHERHOOD. That excites me to no end! How many movies show men in positive fatherhood roles, let alone Christian men? This will be quite the interesting endeavor and I eagerly await its release!
